Character History:
Scott McCall started out as a typical high school teenager. Not the most social, but he was content with that. One night while snooping in the woods with his best friend, Stiles, looking for a dead body, they certainly found one. And at that very night, Scott's world changed. He received the bite from Peter Hale when he managed to get himself separated from Stiles. It worried him but he didn't think much of it until he began noticing strange changes about himself. Hearing, sense of smell and the like. His best friend flippantly suggested he'd been bitten by a werewolf, but it was all just fun and games. At least until the pair realized that was exactly what happened.

With his best friend always at his side, they investigated how to manage the changes in Scott while simultaneously looking for a cure. Any knowledge on his condition seemed to bring them one step closer to figuring it out. On the way, he met Allison Argent, his love interest and consequently, a werewolf hunter. Nervous about his new condition, he nearly ruined his chances with her after skipping out on their dates with wolf issues. Meeting Derek Hale, he learned a few things about his condition and they worked tentatively together from time to time, seeing as they had no one else to turn to.

He considered the bite a curse, having turned his life completely upside down. Scott kept it a secret from everyone he could, trying to keep just Stiles and Derek in the know. Soon after, he found another odd ally in his boss, Doctor Alan Deaton. He possessed extensive knowledge on werewolves, but didn't seem too keen on actually sharing it.

Beacon Hills began experiencing strange murders and attacks. This pushed Scott and Stiles to look deeper into the situation and locate the Alpha that bit Scott in order to fix everything. Deaton and Derek are both suspects on their list given their secretive natures. Scott is told by Derek that the only cure is for Scott to kill his Alpha. Knowing this gave him even more reason to find out the identity of the Alpha.

To make matters worse, Scott's identity as a werewolf is revealed to the Argents, forcing him to stay on the run and watch his back at every turn. Between the Alpha and the Argents, it seems like the chaos of his life couldn't get much worse and it all started with a simple bite in the woods. He's driven purely by his need to protect his friends and family as well as his desire to return to being human.

As the identity of Scott's Alpha is revealed, things become even more complicated. His girlfriend and her family are werewolf hunters, and one of them in particular was responsible for the decimation of Derek's family. Old feuds between the Argents and the Hales put Scott right in the middle of the crossfire. He's nearly struck down by Allison and her aunt, Kate Argent. The Alpha inadvertently takes Scott off the death list with his appearance. They now all had a common goal; killing the Alpha. In the end, it's Derek who takes Peter's life, trapping Scott as a werewolf just so he could have the Alpha power that was stolen from his sister thanks to Peter.

Training to overcome and better control his werewolf nature, Scott continues on through school to live life with as much normalcy as he could. But more bizarre murders begin taking place, pushing Scott and his friends to investigate. Meanwhile, Derek is gradually turning students for his pack with his new found Alpha abilities. Scott confronts him, insisting that it isn't fair to the kids he's turning because they don't know the whole deal. His desire to protect everyone drives his actions, taking on the newly turned Betas until Derek ends the fight. Derek expresses interest in Scott, urging him to join his pack. It would make them all stronger, however, he refuses, explaining that his morals and Derek's are too dissimilar for that kind of alliance to work out.

He begins mentoring under his boss, Deaton, and in turn, Deaton becomes more and more attached to the young Omega wolf. They figure out that the creature they're looking for is a Kanima. It's a shape shifter like the werewolves, but doesn't have a will of its own. It requires another to control its actions, seeking a master.

Two kids were bitten by Peter Hale before his death, Lydia and Jackson. So far as everyone can tell, neither of them actually became werewolves. However, that doesn't mean nothing happened to them. One became a Kanima, the other became something else entirely.

Lydia is suspected to be the Kanima by Derek and his pack, so they set out to kill her before she can kill again. Scott is quite certain that it isn't her, and even if it is, Derek's actions were far from moral. In a showdown at the house, Scott, Stiles, and Allison protect Lydia and Jackson against an attack by Derek's pack. Successfully defending them, Derek comments that he now knows why Scott kept refusing to join his pack; he already had a pack.

Clues lead up to the identity of the true Kanima. Turning out to be Jackson, they attempt to subdue him and find out who is controlling him. While Lydia is not the Kanima, she was controlled by Peter to bring him back to life while everyone was focused on the Kanima business. Allison's crazy grandfather, Gerard Argent, complicates things further and ends up making a deal with Scott who reluctantly agrees. In the end, Scott outsmarts Gerard by slipping Mountain Ash into his medication, having figured out that Gerard orchestrated a great deal of the events just so he could receive the bite to cure his illness. However, when Derek is forced to bite him, instead of turning, his body rejects it due to the Mountain Ash in his blood, causing him to ooze black fluid continuously. Jackson is saved, and shifts from a Kanima to a werewolf, leaving to live in the UK.

Allison broke up with Scott, needing to clear her head of everything that had happened after losing her mother to Derek Hale. Scott neglected to tell her that Derek killed her mother to protect him because he didn't want her to think of her mother as a monster. Scott tells her that he'll wait for her until she's ready, insisting that she's the only one for him.

Hearing of the Kanima and the rising new Alpha with his small pack of teenagers, an 'all-star' pack of elites wander into Beacon Hills in order to force the new Alpha to join their Alpha Pack. Comprised of five Alphas that gained unimaginable power by killing their own packs then coming together under the influence of Deucalion, they begin their hunt for Derek.

They think their troubles are only the Alpha Pack and their twisted interest in Derek until victims begin showing up. All are strangled, had their throats slashed, and bludgeoned in the head. Three killing blows seemed to be the only consistency they could find with so little information on the deaths. Beacon Hills really must be the crime capital of the state of California with all these deaths.

Scott and Stiles begin investigating the murders when they find out that two of the Alphas are now enrolled in their school thanks to Isaac Lahey identifying them. Scott's role as protector escalates now that he has Isaac to look after as well. The taller werewolf became more and more attached to Scott as things progress, even going as far as to develop a sort of rivalry with Stiles for the position as Scott's best friend. This puts a bit of a rift between Scott and Stiles.

Derek is intent on striking the Alphas down before they can do any more harm, but Scott insists that that is a suicide run. Surprisingly, Peter agrees with his 'morally bland' protege, but Derek doesn't listen. Scott attempts to meet with Deucalion in private, hoping to see if he couldn't talk the other out of all this senseless killing. However, Isaac, who is now living with Scott and his mother, catches him before he can leave, insisting on going with him. Reluctantly, Scott takes Isaac with him but is deceived by Derek who joins him, fighting instead of talking. Given no choice but to fight now, Scott and Isaac work with Derek, Cora, and Boyd to take on the Alpha Pack. Deucalion gets his first 'glimpse' of Scott's eyes momentarily changing to a reddish hue while fighting Ennis, seeing his true potential.

The result of the fight leaves the packs to think Derek and Ennis are dead or dying. Drowning in guilt over the loss of Derek, he takes responsibility for being unable to protect the older wolf. That guilt prevents his wounds from healing like they should, becoming a life-threatening problem that begins oozing black blood. The festering wound is stitched up by Allison in an attempt to help Scott mend before it's too late.

It comes to light that the murders seem to all have common themes; virgins, military families, healers, the works. That revelation gives them something to work with, determining they're dealing with a Dark Druid, or someone masquerading as one.

They end up at a motel where strange things begin happening to the wolves and Lydia. The wolves nearly lost their lives to the Darach as it tries to force the werewolves to take their own lives as sacrifices. Scott is found drenched in gasoline with an ignited road flair in hand. He insists that everyone will be better off without him as he brings chaos into their lives. Wishing things were like they used to be, when he and Stiles were nobodies and sucked at Lacrosse. Stiles talks him down and saves his life, snapping Scott out of his possessed trance.

Later, Scott finds out that his boss is actually a Druid as well. He used to be an Emissary for the Hale pack before they were killed off. He vowed to leave that part of himself behind until Scott found his way into Deaton's life. Gradually, he began filling the role of Scott's Emissary without actually realizing it. He sees a spark of something in Scott that is incredibly unique.

That spark surfaces when Deaton himself is kidnapped by the Dark Druid. Deucalion confronts Scott, telling him that someone will die today, whether it be Deaton or Derek is up to him. He decides that they can save both if they split up. The others go to aid Derek while he searched for Deaton. He finds him tied up in the vault, suspended by his wrists. He's surrounded by a circle of Mountain Ash, preventing Scott from getting to him to save his life. Stubbornly refusing to let his boss die, he pushes against the magic barrier with all his strength. Deaton witnesses Scott's eyes take on a momentary crimson hue before he's rejected from the barrier. His desire to protect those he loves and his strength of will nearly pushed him to become something rare, but he still wasn't ready. Fortunately, Stiles' father saves the day.

Lydia is finally revealed to be a Banshee by the Darach when she tried to kill Lydia. The shriek caught the attention of all the wolves, despite how far away they seemed to be. It brought Scott back to the classroom where he was able to save her life, but was unable to protect Sheriff Stilinski. Stiles' father was abducted, bringing their chance to a more urgent tone. They now had the identity of the Darach and immediately brought it to Derek's attention.

Scott's main focus is to do whatever it takes to save everyone. They take Jennifer Blake to the hospital to force her into saving Cora's life. The Darach, Jennifer Blake, poisoned her with mistletoe. A bad storm was brewing, making it difficult to do much. The Alpha Pack cornered them to kill the Darach, so they were forced to protect her while trying not to let her escape at the same time. Deucalion uses Scott's mother to get to him, but Scott assures everyone that Deucalion won't hurt her. When asked how he can be so sure, Peter explains that Scott is on his way to becoming a True Alpha. An werewolf that becomes an Alpha through sheer strength of character. Because of this, Deucalion wants Scott in his pack, so killing Melissa would be counterproductive to getting Scott's cooperation.

They press on only to get split up and lose their advantage entirely. Deucalion releases Melissa as a sign of 'good will' but ends up abducted by the Darach. Deucalion is confronted by Scott who agrees to go with him willingly if it means protecting everyone he loves. Leaving his friends behind, he joins Deucalion's pack.

In order to find their missing parents, Scott works with Deucalion until he tries to kill their French teacher and guidance counselor who turns out to be an Emissary to Deucalion. He protects her and she tells the rest of the Alpha Pack that it was Deucalion that killed Ennis, not Derek.

Scott and his friends along with Deaton preform a dangerous ritual that involves three willing sacrifices in exchange for the three parents so they can find the Nemeton, a powerful tree that stores sacrifices. To preform it, Scott, Allison, and Stiles all had to drown, held under by their closest anchors. Deaton was to Scott, Lydia to Stiles, and Isaac to Allison. This ritual empowered the tree, but also truly did lead them to their missing parents. Scott went with Deucalion to lure the Darach into a battle while the others went to save their parents.

Derek showed up with Jennifer to fight Scott and Deucalion, insisting that he was doing this to save Scott's mother and the other parents set up to die. Regardless, Deucalion displays just why he's called the Demon Wolf, tipping the fight in their favor until he tries to force Scott to kill her. When he refuses, Deucalion forces him to transform and tries to restrain him but Scott came prepared for Deucalion's treachery. Using flash-bang arrow heads to temporarily blind Deucalion, he gets free. The battle continues into the Lunar Eclipse in which the werewolves are rendered human. After the Darach nearly kills Deucalion but is tricked into healing him instead, they regain the upper hand as the eclipse ends forcing Jennifer to retreat and surround herself in Mountain Ash for protection. Saying she'll just wait and take the parents lives before finishing them off.

With the thought of saving the three parents trapped in the Nemeton, Scott presses against the barrier, trying to force his way through to her. She taunts him, telling him he's already tried that and it doesn't work. But as she's speaking, he begins to gain ground. As he does so, his eyes burn a fiery red and the Mountain Ash barrier is destroyed. She's now exposed and facing two Alphas and a Beta. Scott informs her that he's now an Alpha, and that she should release their parents or he will kill her regardless of what it will do to the color of his eyes.

Deucalion swoops in and delivers the killing blow instead, saying it won't change the color of his. Scott and Derek choose to let Deucalion go if he reforms his ways or Scott will find him and show no mercy.

The ritual left a dark spot in their heart, causing them some chaos after they resumed their natural lives. Losing Allison through Scott's heart into turmoil. Being that Allison was his anchor, Scott lost control of his werewolf nature, just as he had in the beginning. Fortunately, he is able to force back the shifts through physical pain and strength of will. But because of that loss, he's afraid to shift, knowing he could lose himself and hurt someone.

'Stiles' Stilinski is his best friend from childhood. They grew up together and didn't seem to mind that they were unpopular in school because they had eachother. They've been with eachother through thick and thin, providing comfort for eachother at even the hardest of times. Even after gaining popularity on the Lacrosse team, they continue to be joined by an inseparable friendship. Stiles was the only one who could reach Scott when he was under the Darach's control, insisting that they were brothers.

Isaac Lahey started out as an unfriendly face, but gradually, the taller teen began growing on him throughout their time together. Though Lahey was part of Derek's pack, Scott still looked out for him, and eventually the other made a switch to Scott's pack when Derek threw him out after an outburst. From there, the two have been living together with Scott's mother, Melissa McCall. For a while, there was a short rivalry between Stiles and Isaac for the position of Scott's closest friend, however, lately their relationship became somewhat strained as Isaac began falling for Allison. Despite that, he still stays with Scott and his mother.

Allison Argent captured Scott's heart when she transferred to his school after her family moved into Beacon Hills. It took him some time to work his way to boyfriend status with his werewolf powers emerging and throwing his life into chaos, but he made it. They stayed together for quite some time, until the supernatural mess caused a small rift between them, leading to a breakup. Even after the breakup, Scott smiled and told her he would wait for her until she was ready again.

Derek Hale was a nuisance to Scott from the beginning, under suspicion as a bad guy by himself and Stiles. Even after they determined he wasn't the killer, Scott didn't appreciate his insistence to join his pack. He didn't agree with the way Derek did things and his morals could use some work. However, lately Scott has grown close to the other wolf as he began to change, this helped their bond grow even stronger. Scott felt so guilty when Derek was suspected to be dead that he inadvertently prevented his body from healing.

Alan Deaton started out as just his boss at the veterinary clinic, but after finding out Scott was a werewolf, he began subtly helping him without revealing himself. After some time, Scott and Stiles realized that Deaton knew more than he let on about Scott's situation, eventually revealing that Deaton used to be a druid (an emissary. Emissaries guide and help wolf packs, usually bonding with a certain pack. Deaton grew close to Scott, and gradually became more of an emissary to him than he ever intended to be.

Abilities/Special Powers:
Strengths:
Enhanced Performance: Strength, speed, agility, sight, sense of smell, and hearing are all heightened even without shifting.
Healing: His wounds heal at such an alarming rate, hospitalization is almost unnecessary with most injuries. However, injuries inflicted with poisoned weaponry or inflicted by another alpha take longer to heal or won't heal at all until the poison is cleansed and the weapon removed.
Taking Pain: He's able to take away someone else's pain through physical contact and concentration, drawing it into his own body.
Transformation: Able to shift into a wolf-like appearance. With this comes further enhanced performance. As an Alpha, he is even stronger than most.
Alpha Eyes: Grant him the ability to see certain supernatural things, such as Kira's fox aura.
Alpha Howl: He is able to roar/howl and force other wolves (and coyotes, apparently) to shift back. It gives him some control over his betas as well and for locating or sending distress calls.
True Alpha: A unique case where a beta becomes an Alpha through sheer strength of character.

Weaknesses:
Aconite: As a Teen Wolf werewolf, Wolfsbane is poisonous to him in virtually any form.
Rowan: He cannot cross a barrier made of Mountain Ash. However, he is shown breaking through a barrier of Mountain Ash via force when he became an Alpha.
Hecatolite: Moonstone is a stone that blocks out moonlight. If sealed within a room of such a material for an extended period of time, sudden exposure to moonlight, or more importantly, the full moon, can cause a more rabid than normal reaction, even for a wolf with a secure anchor.
Mistletoe: Another known poison.
Electricity: Electrical currents are known to interrupt the functions of werewolves. For example, it can prevent wolves from shifting or keep them from healing. Different voltages have different effects. A skilled hunter knows how to use them to their advantage.

Third-Person Sample:
Consciousness came to the teenager in stages. First, he began hearing little sounds, nothing too alarming, just the sound of nature around him. Rustling of trees and grass, buzzing of insects off in the distance and chirping birds at sparse intervals bled into the darkness of his mind. From there, his sense of smell began picking up stray scents. A menagerie of mixing and mingling scents blurred together into an unidentifiable fog, making it impossible to pick one out from another. Then came his sense of touch. He almost thought he was floating. His skin tingled making his body feel heavy with sleep. Scott couldn't tell if he was standing, lying, or floating until his chocolate brown eyes fluttered open. They squinted against the light, immediately tearing up at the searing attack on his retina. The second time around, he opened them more slowly, allowing for his eyes to adjust to the overbearing light.

"Wh--?"

Scott sat up quickly, pitching forward a bit too far when his head swam. Both palms hit the grass between his legs to steady himself before his face could hit the ground. Hungry or not, he didn't fancy a grassy breakfast in any situation.

He skimmed his surroundings with careful eyes, not daring to bring forth the added help of his alpha reds. He couldn't risk it. He'd already lost control several times in the past few days and each time it became harder and harder to bring himself back. Is that what had happened here? The last thing he recalled, he they'd been talking about a missing girl and he found out his dad was trying to impeach Sherriff Stilinski for unsolved cases. Scott's jaw set, grinding white omnivore teeth together. How could his father do that?! Grass and soil surrounded his fingers—was he sinking?! Brown eyes flicked down to stare at the ground beneath his hands to find that he'd curled his fingers into the dirt, claws showing through. No, he had to remember what his mother had said!

"Be my own anchor. C'mon! I can be my own anchor!" Scott's voice began to take on a growling overtone as he fought with his emerging wolf. "Come on! I can do this!" He breathed heavily, arching his back upward as he let out a frustrated growl, squeezing his eyes shut to focus.

It paid off. Gradually, his werewolf features began to recede, pulling himself back from the edge of his sanity. The dark haired teen panted heavily, letting the relief wash over his body to leave him shaking with the surge of adrenaline. He remained there, head hanging forward, for several minutes until he was certain he could stand on his own and pulled himself up.

He could see a strange mansion in the distance, feeling oddly unsafe near the edge of the forest, he began a shaky trek towards t he building. He had a feeling he wasn't in Beacon Hills. Just a hunch. Looking around at the scenery as he moved only further disoriented him. A strange checkerboard field made of grass on one side, and he could see the hedges of a strange maze in the distance. Was he in some kind of theme park? Disney Land must have had a makeover or something.

First-Person Sample:
[Where on earth was he? This place was just too wild. On his way to the mansion, he got sidetracked and looked over the checkerboard field. It was actually pretty cool in his opinion, but he'd hate to be the guy that actually keeps this place trimmed and neat. Detouring to the hedge maze, he looked around, taking a tentative step past the entrance, peering down the different options of paths he could take. What could go wrong, right? With that in mind, he ventures into the maze, vowing to backtrack if he gets lost or comes across too many options.]

[Several twists and turns and dead ends, he may have gotten himself a bit lost. So far, his sense of smell was still screwy thanks to the plethora of smells mingling the air. Yeah, this was definitely a theme park with all those scents, new and old.]

[Reaching for his phone, Scott unlocks the display and pauses. What… happened to his phone? It's still his phone, but it seems different, somehow. He debates his actions for a moment, then activates the video call button. The camera display flicks to give him a tiny view of himself up in a corner and a red recording light.]

Um… Okay. I think I'm dreaming… a really weird dream.

[Scott ends the call without waiting for a response. Who would respond in his dream, anyway? Sheesh, what did he have to eat last night? As far as nightmares go, this was actually not too bad.]
